Overview
PI Dashboard displays account and project data for account managers and Principal Investigators (PIs).
- If you have the right permissions, you can ‘Act-As’ someone else and see the PI Dashboard exactly they see it, including all transaction and labor data. ‘Act-As’ is the only way to see accounts where you are not the PI or account manager.
- Administrators typically use this access to support their PIs.
- To add or update your ‘Act-As’ permissions, contact the person on this list for your unit. Once set up, PI Dashboard will reflect your new permissions in a day or two.

- My PIs uses ‘Act-As’ access to show you all the people whose data you can view.
Note: To access PI Dashboard, simply log in with your NetID and password; there is no need to request access.
See My PIs
The My PIs tab shows the names, Expense Review reports, and support status of PIs you can Act-As.

- Click a Name to see their Finances tab.
- In Reports, click a PI’s monthly report to view that report in EXPENSE REVIEW.
- Click People I Support to identify people you would like to receive notifications about.
- Selected people stay at the top of the list.
- (Future) You will receive one monthly email with the report status of everyone you support.
- Click Learn More to see the Act-As help page.
Note: You can also see your PIs’ dashboards using the PI Dashboard menu by clicking the arrow next to your name and choosing a person from the list. The menu will always show the person you are seeing.

NOTE: If you try to see someone for whom you don’t have permission, you’ll see an error message.
